Scope:-
Our global manufacturing client with sales in excess of $2 billion has asked jobTopia to locate a senior business controller to join their Global Management Team (GMT). The senior business controller’s primary objective is to provide financial expertise and guidance for the long term business strategy and current operating goals.
· Advises GMT to ensure strategies are in place to achieve the EBITA goals, segment objectives, and cash flow targets.
· Leads team of two global senior financial analysts whose main responsibilities are preparing, analyzing and interpreting financial information to assess business performance against current budget and long range plans.
· The controller’s organization is responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to ensure accuracy and any variances from plan are investigated and resolved.
· His or Her team represents the GMT’s interests to the global CFO.
· Actively participates as a member GMT along with business controllers from other business segments to further develop the common processes, financial reporting and analyses.
· Coordinates budget process within the segment and the GMT.
Educational and experience required:-
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
· Master of Business Administration a plus
· CPA a plus
· A minimum of ten (10+) years of finance and analysis experience within a mid-to-large international manufacturing company.
· Experience operating successfully within a complex matrix organizational structure.
